Jeff & Laurie Atz – Chi Alpha Fort Wayne
It’s a time to commemorate the achievements and milestones of the past year, and to look forward with anticipation to the future. The second half of March we dove back into our regular schedule of groups, Chi Alpha meetings, prayer walks and leadership training with renewed excitement. We are thrilled to see the growth and development of those who participated and we have great anticipation for their future contributions to the Chi Alpha community, university and beyond.

Chris & Julie Abiuso – Mexico
This April we had our first team of the year come in from the Wilberforce School in Princeton, NJ. In the mornings we held a VBS program in El Colli and in the afternoons we ministered in drug and alcohol rehab centers with dramas, testimonies and live worship. We also worked alongside one of our local pastors to provide an outreach in their community. Before school let out one afternoon, the director of the public school allowed us to invite the kids to the event. The team from Wilberforce did a fantastic job! Many people heard the Gospel and had an opportunity to respond. As always, we cannot THANK YOU enough for helping us in this mission with your prayers and your generous giving. We truly are grateful for your partnership. Without it we could not be here serving in Mexico.
Prayer Requests
- Children’s ministry opportunities/events in our district.
- For the many missions teams that will be coming in this year.
- God’s blessing & provision for all the different ministries we are involved in.

Wow! We have been flooded with calls, texts, emails, cards, love, and generosity. Thank you from the depths of our hearts for loving us so very beautifully, and for praying for Trina’s complete healing. We are profoundly grateful. In answer to prayers, we were able to shift from Lomé to Florida near our daughter and son-in-law (and grand babies!). We found a fabulous clinic dedicated to fight and defeat cancer – the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. We were able to buy a car, to find a great local church, and to rent a condo very near our kids. In fact, it is the same one we lived in during the COVID pandemic. The clinic expedited Trina’s consultations and tests, and Monday they installed a port for the medicine and tomorrow she begins her chemo+immunotherapy treatments. The next phase of the battle begins. We fight this battle with you. We recognize that Jesus is our great Physician and Healer, and He can bring the victory through medical technology, through an outright miracle, or a combination of the two. Thank you for surrounding us and for fighting with us!
