January 2024 Update
Andrea Hastings: Northern Asia
I was finally able to return to northern Asia about two months ago! The process of obtaining my work permit and visa took longer than expected. I am so grateful that He ahs opened the doors for me to return once again. I am back to teaching English and I couldn’t ask for better students or colleagues. Everyone is so friendly and I am always meeting new people. I have been livint in a hostel since I arrived while waiting for repairs to be completed on teacher housing. A Buddhist family invited me to celebrate Christmas with them at their home, which was a great opportunity to learn more about their minority culture.
Thank you for all of the encouragement, support and prayers. I am happy to be here and looking forward to this next season.
Terry and Tom Bremer: Teen Challenge Europe
God is faithful! We traveled to too many countries to stop and count at the moment. As I write that I’m remembering that I forgot to mention Tom’s time in Germany and Kosovo in July. He joined Haus Neubruch’s Freundestag (friends’ day), an open house for their neighbors and supporters. After a few days there enjoying the fellowship and Thueringer bratwurst, Tom was in Kosovo with a colleague. They met with two men who would like to begin working with the addicted in their town. One of the men pastors the only Christian church in that Muslim community. Please pray for their efforts.
We thank you for the role you’ve played in our lives and ministry this year. We can only do what we do because of your prayers and your financial support. Every victory, every life saved from addiction and brokenness is credited to your heavenly account. You have faithfully “stayed with the baggage” while we went “into the battle.” (See David’s edict in 1 Samuel 30:24b-25.) Your reward will be great. God bless you for your faithfulness.
